Caf Cup: the FTF and businessmen save CS Sfaxien

CAF was right to bang their fists on the table. All the clubs qualified for the African competitions had to settle their financial disputes inorder to be able to play in its competitions. CS Sfaxien has just announced on its Facebook page that it “ has been able to close seven litigation cases in which final decisions have been rendered by the sports arbitration structures. Thus, he officially guaranteed his participation in the African Confederation Cup for the 2022/2023 sports season  . These 7 players who have gone months without salaries will now be able to recover their due.

The Management Committee thanked ”  the businessmen concerned about the interest of the club and its reputation at the national and continental level  ” who made their financial contribution. The Committee also highlighted the contribution of the President of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF), Wadie Jary. The FTF boss has disbursed a large part of the funds to allow CS Sfaxien to settle their disputes and represent Tunisia in the CAF Cup. Nevertheless, the club is required to reimburse the Federation at the appropriate time.
