Primus League: Kiyovu stalls, APR advances to the title

The 28th day of the Rwanda football championship ended on Monday, May 23 with a victory for APR against Gorilla (2-1) and a bad operation by Kiyovu Sport which was held in check by Etoile de l East (1-1). The three points pocketed by APR (63 points) are very important for the title race with two rounds remaining. Kiyovu Sport (61 points) currently bases its hopes on the last two days of the championship during which APR will play against AS Kigali and Police, two teams capable of playing a bad trick on the Rwandan army team.At the bottom of the table, the team that will accompany Gicumbi in the second division is not yet known. Rutsiro (15th, 26 points) is one point behind Etoile de l’Est, the first non-relegation player (27 points). Bugesera (11th , 31 points) is not spared either.
