The hosts’ three goals were scored by Sanad El Ouerfali (14th), Muad Eisay (28th) and Omar Al Khouja (53rd). Bandile Shandu, author of a double (26th and 45th + 1) found the net for the South African formation.
With this success, Al Ittihad takes first place in Group B with three points. Note that the first match of the Libyan club against Royal Leopards has been postponed for March 6th.
