On Tuesday, Cameroon will therefore know all its guests for the 33rd edition of the CAN. There are only seven places left for the table to be complete. In groups A, D, G, H and I, the dice have already been cast. On the other hand, the suspense remains intact in seven other hens. As in the C which will know its epilogue today with a long awaited Sudan – South Africa poster Indeed, the two teams compete for the last ticket because in the other meeting Ghana (10 pts) is already qualified and Sao Tome e Principe is eliminated.

The Bafana Bafana (9 pts) only need a draw to validate their qualification. But the Nile Crocodiles (9pts) have the home advantage. It will be the same setup in Group B on Monday. Indeed, Burkina Faso and South Sudan, which clash in Ouagadougou, have nothing more to play. However, Malawi (7 pts) and Uganda (8 pts) must fight to accompany the Stallions.

5 tickets for CAN, Tuesday

The best, however, remains for the end of the playoffs on Tuesday. We will indeed have the outcome for five groups. First in group E where only Morocco is fixed on its fate. The Atlas Lions, already qualified, welcome Burundians who indeed want to tackle Mauritania. The Mourabitounes move to the Central African Republic which is still in the process. In Group F also, behind the host country Cameroon, Cape Verde, Rwanda and Mozambique are still in contention.

Then Congo and Guinea Bissau will try, on behalf of group I, to take the second ticket after Senegal, assured of being at the CAN. In Group K on the other hand, it will be a long-distance fight between Madagascar and Ethiopia. The Malagasy receive Niger, already out while the Ethiopians visit Côte d’Ivoire, qualified. Finally, in group L, Sierra Leone at home has the opportunity to overtake Benin. The other poster between Nigeria and Lesotho is not at stake.
