CAF has just unveiled the list of all the nominees for the 2022 CAF Awards scheduled for July 21 in Morocco. The ceremony will take place 48 hours from the final of the CAN women’s 2022 which takes place from July 2 in the Cherifian kingdom. The last edition was held in January 2020 in Egypt. Senegalese Sadio Mané was voted best African player of the year. The new Bayern player left to succeed himself and become the second Senegalese to win this distinction twice after El Hadji Diouf (2001-2002).
