Guinea: Ligue 1 and 2 championships suspended

A few weeks after the start of the return phase of the national Ligue 1 and 2 championship, the Guinean Professional Football League(LGFP) announced on Thursday the suspension of the championship until further notice.

In the letter, the president of the League Mamady Diomandé mentions the refusal of certain referees to officiate the matches already scheduled with the appointments received from the referees committee.

A few days ago, rumors about the cessation of the activities of these men in black had circulated. The latter would demand an improvement in their living and working conditions.
